Star Wars: A New Hope Bloopers

This is the first Star Wars movie. This section will have all the bloopers of ANH.

Original Movie:

Carrie - After Luke has blown the Death Star and has landed back at Massassi Base, Leia shouts "Luke!" to him. Listen to Luke's reply. Instead of shouting "Leia!" back to her, he shouts "Carrie!" which of course is Carrie Fisher's first name. For those who don't know who Carrie Fisher is, she was the actress who played Princess Leia

Lightsaber Glow - After Vader has killed Obi-Wan Kenobi, and is walking towards the Falcon (when the blast doors start to close on him), watch his lightsaber. His lightsaber stops glowing red and turns to white which is the colour of the rod they used in the film.

R5-D4 - In the scene where Uncle Owen buys the faulty red droid (R5-D4), watch when the camera switches back to looking at R2-D2. On R2's right R5-D4 is next to him again.

Death Star Stormies - In the scene where the squad of stormtroopers breaks through the door, watch the right side of the screen. A stormtrooper clearly bashes his head on the door as its raising.

Cantina Mouse Alien - The mouse alien make two mistakes while the movie is shown in the cantina. The first one is that when the alien turns its head you can see through one eye and out the other side through the other eye. The second mistake is when the mouse alien is given a drink. It pulls the glass up to its face and clearly hits its chin instead of its mouth with the glass.

Sandcrawler R2-D2 - While on the sandcrawler, the actor of R2-D2 is visible through R2's eye.

Ben's Items - While Luke and Ben are watching the hologram, items on Ben's table disappear and reappear.

Chewbacca's Foot - While Han and Chewie are running through the corridors of the Death Star, you can see the rubber soles of Chewie's feet.

Red Leader - Red Leader's helmet mic switches sides several times before he crashes.

Muted Luke - In the trash compactor scene, when you hear the Dianoga's growl, Luke mouths "What was that?" but nothing is heard.

Vader - When Darth Vader is threatening one of the moffs in the conference room on the Death Star, he finishes his sentence early, and the body actor of Darth Vader, shakes his fist too late.

Milennium Falcon - Scenes from outside the Falcon show it has four windows, yet shots from inside show it has only three.

Falling Stormie - In the fight scene shortly before the Falcon leaves, Han shoots one of the stormtroopers in the chest. As the camera cuts to different shots of the battle, the same stromtrooper is shown falling at different intervals (IE: On knees, falling on to stomach, falling on to knees, falling on to stomach).

Interrogator Droid - When Darth Vader brings in the Interrogator Droid, you can see the crane arm holding up the droid.

Fuzzy Dice - When Chewie gets into the Falcon cockpit for the first time you see in the movie, his head clearly hits a pair of black fuzzy dice hanging from the ceiling.

Special Edition:

Dash Rendar - When the camera pans around Mos Eisley you see a ship take off from a spaceport. This ship has been identified as Dash Rendar's ship.
(Dash Rendar is the main character from the book and game "Shadows of the Empire".)
